Traffic Alert: Section of Route 602 in Carroll County to close for bridge replacement

SALEM – Beginning on Monday, June 1, Route 602 (Brush Creek Road) will be closed for a bridge replacement over Lick Creek. The closure is located 0.65 mile from Route 738 (Scratch Gravel Road) to the Grayson County line.

Through traffic will not be able to cross the bridge, but residents will have access to their homes on either side of the closure.

A signed detour will be in place around the closure and message boards will alert drivers.

Weather permitting, the road is expected to reopen on Tuesday, June 30.
