Dick Huff Lane in Verona Closed April 10 – 13 for Rail Crossing Work

STAUNTON – The main access road to the Augusta County Government Center in Verona – Dick Huff Lane (Route 940) – is scheduled to be closed from 8:30 a.m. Friday, April 10, through no later than 8 a.m. Monday, April 13. This planned closure is for railroad crossing maintenance.

The public can reach the government center using the southern entrance off Route 11 (Lee Highway) next to the Augusta County Sheriff’s office, about 0.2-mile south of Dick Huff Lane. Government center employees can use this entrance or the rear access off Technology Drive.

All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
