Bridge repairs near I-81 exit 3 create need to temporarily close Mendota Trailhead at Island Road

BRISTOL — Due to repairs to the Interstate 81 bridge near exit 3 in Bristol located above Island Road, the adjacent trailhead and parking area for the Mendota Trail is temporarily closed.

The closure is necessary to ensure safety. The closure will remain in place for approximately two weeks.
