Bristol District: Public hearing set for 4th Street and Holston Road proposed intersection improvements in Wytheville

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public hearing to review a proposed design for 4th Street and Holston Road intersection improvements in Wytheville.

BRISTOL — The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public hearing to review a proposed design for 4th Street and Holston Road intersection improvements in Wytheville.

The open house format information meeting will take place Tuesday, May 7 from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Wytheville Meeting Center, located at 333 Community Boulevard in Wytheville. The public meeting website includes information regarding the meeting and a place to provide comments: https://publicinput.com/u8166.

Comments regarding the project can be provided to VDOT until May 17, 2024, via the following methods:

  • Call VDOT Project Manager Caleb Shoupe at 276-591-7749.
  • Email Caleb.Shoupe@vdot.virginia.gov. Please reference “4th Street and Holston Road intersection improvements (Wytheville)” in the subject line.
  • Comment sheets will be available at the in-person public meeting or can be mailed/emailed.
