Traffic Alert: Expect delays on Route 122 in Bedford County in Otterville for emergency slope repairs

SALEM — Beginning at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6, drivers on Route 122 (Big Island Highway) in the Otterville community of Bedford County should expect delays due to emergency slope repairs.

Weather permitting, flaggers will be controlling traffic on Route 122 around the clock. The slope repair location is approximately 0.2 mile north of Route 643 (Otterville Road).

Work is anticipated to be completed by Friday, Aug. 9.
