Closure expected to last five days
STAUNTON – A portion of Route 11 (Martinsburg Pike) in Frederick County will close to through traffic at 8 a.m. Monday, April 7, due to railroad crossing maintenance. The closure is scheduled to be in place 24 hours a day for five days. The location is between Brooke Road (Route 1322) and Park Center Drive/Cives Lane (Route 1323) just north of Winchester.
Motorists can access homes and businesses within the closure area by approaching from the appropriate side of the railway crossing. Through traffic will detour as follows:
Route 11 is expected to reopen on or about Friday, April 11. All work is weather permitting.
