Traffic Alert: Section of Route 676 in Patrick County to close for pipe replacement

A detour will be in place for through traffic

SALEM – Weather permitting, starting at 9 a.m. Monday, May 18, a section of Route 676 (East Fork Road) between Nature Trail and Johnson Creek bridge in Patrick County will be closed to through traffic for a pipe replacement. Residents will have access to their homes on either side of the closure.

Through traffic can detour around the closure by using Route 672 (Johnson Creek Road) to Route 677 (Willis Gap Road) to Route 673 (Sky View Drive). Motorists should pay attention to signs and electronic message boards in the area.

Work is expected to be completed by Friday, May 29, weather permitting.
