Expect weeknight closures on Route 625 in Shenandoah County

STAUNTON — The Virginia Department of Transportation will close a portion of Route 625 (Harman Road) under the Interstate 81 northbound overpass for bridge beam maintenance work in Shenandoah County. This work begins Aug. 26. Work will be Monday through Thursday for approximately three weeks beginning at 4 p.m. concluding by 7 a.m. the next day.

Traffic will detour at Route 642 to Route 657 to Route 11.

The work on the I-81 northbound bridge at Route 625 will include flagging operations as well as alternating lane closures using a traditional work zone traffic pattern.
